The Paleo Diet May Digest – Published After Twenty Years…

Welcome readers to the Paleo Diet’s May digest!

This month we cover a variety of topics from getting ready for the summer beach season, to recent research showing why eggs might actually be a good way to start your day; despite the bad press they’ve received.

But most important in May was the posting of a never-before-published book chapter by Binger Jansson, PhD, a respected colleague of Dr Cordain’s. Jannson’s life work was on salt and cancer. And even back in 1997 when he wrote his book, the scientific evidence was painting a clear picture. We’re excited that Jansson’s colleagues agreed the chapter should be published first on The Paleo Diet website!

In addition to these exciting posts, Jane Dizon debunks the biggest myths about the Paleo diet in her monthly infographic, Lorrie Cordain provides a few Paleo-friendly condiment recipes and Dr. Marc Bubbs writes about the impact of late-night eating on circadian rhythms. Forgoing that snack before bed may very well be one way to improve your health.

We hope you enjoy, and as always, thanks for reading!

For the first time, a portion of the book has been made available on The Paleo Diet website. You can read it here.
